Hallett Return Short-Lived HAMILTON HOSTS NATIONALS
The much-discussed return of founder and ex-manager Nick Hallett to the Yankees is over. Nick announced he is retiring for the remainder of the season, due to an assortment of nagging injuries, most significantly his wonky knees. In an emotional speech that brought back memories of Yankee legend Lou Gehrig, whose number 4 Nick proudly wore on his back (and in his ear), Hallett simply emphatically stated, Nationals Weekend is approaching, the tourney is set for Friday August 1st through Monday August 4th. The BVB Yanks are well represented, with Scott Bailey, Larry Hallett, Mike Pingle, Dean Howard and possibly even Andy (who) Szitas playing with the 44+ squad. Todd Ford and Jamie MacIntyre will be playing a big part in the 35+ group, which is being managed by Jason Riesberry along with assistance from Brad Tupper. Please check out the main BVB website for all the updates happenings over the weekend. Best of luck to all teams, and trust the Yankee Reps will do the team well.
